I think what sets this apart form other vaporwave is not only how unique and meticulously arranged and chopped it is, but the entire thing is *coherent*. It flows. It never stops feeling good to nod your head to and never becomes difficult to understand or stick with. Years of vaporwave and it's progression have seen this album continue to shine as arguably the best vaporwave project of all time.

Cool video! I don't really know how songs like sky nouveau, hidden pathway, and lady count in the tracklist though, just cuz they're on texture maps or vektroid's UA-cam channel, could someone give me an explanation?
Because floral shoppe was realeasead like one hundred times and this is the version with all the songs
@@floralroll But the re-releases never contained these tracks. Sky Noveau was on Initiation Tape: Part One and was posted to vektroid's UA-cam channel, hidden pathway was also posted to her channel (and on texture maps), and lady was only on texture maps. I guess you could argue that hidden pathway and sky noveau count because they were on Acid Fuxx's fanmade floral shoppe 2 (which actually was officially licensed by Vektroid) and contained these unreleased tracks, but that means tracks like 飛行機AVIATION, WELCOME大きな家HOME, 弱点HEEL, ライブラリLIBRARY, and アメリカCONTINENTAL should be on this release. It's pretty confusing on what tracks should and shouldn't be considered floral shoppe. (Also, Lady sounds like something from ClearSkies idk).

Alright, this is very good and I've been creating a playlist that regroups all of the songs that were sampled for this. Does anyone know what's behind Hidden Pathway ? It's the only one I'm missing to this day.
cant find a source on it but if i recall correctly, hidden pathway is an original track with no sample.

it's funny how most people who listen to vaporwave (most, not ALL), don't realize all this is, is popular music just slowed down or pitch-shifted and processed. A LOT of this kind of music is NOT original...it's just remixed and slowed down popular music. It's almost a CON JOB to those who already knew this.
everyone who listens to vaporwave recognizes that it samples older music, don't project your own stupidity onto others.

Hell yea bro back when I was 15 ( im 20 now) me and my buddies played modded minecraft with over 200+ custom mods and one of them was custom music discs, so we had 420 Macintosh plus and some other shit IN MINECRAFT AS DISCS. Shit was cool but everybody is pretty distant now. Sad sad sad

Yeah the first song and that song sound like it's meant to resemble a broken computer still really cool the whole alblum is just so relaxing which is weird given how abstract and usually upbeat the original songs were

this album is just better than any vapor wave album ever. every single vapor wave album is just slowed down oldies with reverb and delay, but this was cut, re organized, re arranged, and added elements so beautifully, the choice of samples and parts of samples to use and where theyre used is so genius and unique, this album is the most known for a reason even tho most people just say its overhyped, its a masterpiece
